Once a voluntary approach to guide the innovation process for chemicals and materials, the December 2025 revised framework features a “systemic approach to integrate safety, sustainability and functionality of products and processes throughout their life cycle, from design to end-of-life, with a view to reuse and recycling (circularity).”

Aiming to support researarch and innovation (R&I) and product development, SSbD brings economic, environmental and social value, including zero pollution for a toxic-free environment.

🔬 RealSoS (Physical Metrology & Cybernetics)

(Intelligent) Data streams executing Sense-Interpret-Plan-Act-Evaluate-Adapt (SIPAEA) framework loops to configure yield and emission footprint balancing profiles, from seconds to quarters.

🛡️ GuardSoS (Governance & Security)

(Reliable) Systems integrating Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) hardwares and “International Data Space” (including European Industrial Data Space) private or public clouds to ensure sensor data integrity, data sovereignty and federated learning.(Liao et al., 2026)

♻️ AuditSoS (Financial & Supply Chain Innovation)

(Compliant) Agentic workflows running Regenerative Accounting RegTech and FinTech functions to process and generate certified Digital Product Passports (DPP) for cost-effecitve compliance.

📢 Open Call for Research & Industrial Collaboration

The SCVCS initiative is establishing a pioneering Atoms-to-Law framework to operationalize a Regenerative Socio-Technical (RST) roadmap for the global semiconductor industry. We are actively seeking to expand our international consortium for upcoming funding tracks.

🤝 Consortium Expansion Targets:

  • 2–3 EU/UK Partners: Specializing in advanced physical metrology, confidential computing (TEEs), or ecological economics.
  • 1–2 ASEAN Partners: Semiconductor manufacturing facilities, packaging/testing hubs, or regional Global Business Services (GBS 5.0) networks.

We bridge the gap between advanced manufacturing processing and sustainability metrics by turning compliance into an automated, data-sovereign and trustworthy manufacturing service.
